A Welcome along with a Statement about our Faith Welcome to Dive Christian Church. We have been expecting you. Yes, you. You matter to God and you matter to us. A wise man once said that everyone needs two things: ROOTS AND WINGS. The best roots that we can have are in the Lord and His earthly kingdom, the church. The best wings to support us are found in our faith. So welcome; we were expecting you! You are the reason that Dive Christian Church was established and you are the reason that we have expanded our facilities to include a family life center, large playground area, and acreage on which this family will expand its vision of faith. But more important than our physical presence or the church building facility or surrounding acreage is the spiritual climate that the people of our congregation comprise. We are people much like you who face the daily challenges and opportunities of life. We are far from a perfect church; but, we rejoice in the presence of Jesus among us. We have learned that it isn't really about us; it's about Him. That is why our mission is to love Jesus and strive to be more like Him. This drives everything we do. As a church family following hard after Jesus, we value TRUTH BECAUSE WHEN WE KNOW THE TRUTH IT WILL SET US FREE. We value LOVE because love is always relevant no matter what age or stage of life we are living. We value SPIRIT because we seek to be led by the Holy Spirit in every part of our lives. We value COMMUNITY because we realize that we are a part of something bigger than ourselves and we owe so much to so many. As the apostle Paul said: "I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise." Romans 1:14. Our debt compels us to spread the Good News to folks that are near and even to those who are far away. You can click onto the missions page and see our involvement in world missions. There is a lot of history behind Dive Christian Church. But as one fellow put it: "Yesterday died last night." Yesterday is history; tomorrow is in God's hands and today is the gift. We understand that there are things going on in your life in the present. And you may be seeking to know what God could have in store for you in the future. We value your search. We will seek to understand your questions. We may not have all the answers; but, we know THE ONE WHO DOES HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS. Perhaps this website will answer some questions or clarify some of the things that you wish to know about Dive Christian Church. If a conversation about what it means to have a relationship with God will help, we have ministers, elders, teachers, and others who would love to meet and talk with you.
